Trond Andersen is the man behind TAFOTO. Originally from the northern parts of Norway, he moved to Oslo in his early years. He has always maintained a great interest for photography, and now works with his photography on a professional level. TAFOTO produces photographs for sale. The photographer seeks to spark emotion and to engage the eye.

Recently, Trond has participated at Morten Krogvold's workshops in Norway and abroad, and is currently mentored by Behzad Farazollahi.

Trond is now working on a collaborative project with photographer Raymond Bakken. The work is to portrait Oslo's fifteen suburbs. The project is named OSLO2010. The project is due 2010, and will include an exhibition, a book release and a national tour.

Apart from his photography, Trond also works as a coach and a public speaker through Coachsenteret. He is also co-writer of the book Løsningsfokusert Coaching, published by Gyldendal in 2006.

Trond has a long carreer behind him from the SAS Norway Cabin Operation, working with crisis management, management-level competency development as well as daily operational management.

He experienced a dramatic turn of events in 2004, when a brain tumor was discovered. After receiving surgery, Trond suffered some loss of vision due to complications. But has learned to accept the new situation and lives intensively with a great appreciation for life.

Based on his own experiences, Trond seeks to spark emotions and create involvement for those that see his photographs.
